Cracked Game Disc - Who you gonna call?
My Orange Box CD had a crack in it from day one, but it worked and I was impatient, so I didnt worry about it. Occasionally, the 360 would read it like a DVD instead of a game disc, but 9 times out of 10 it would work.
I've come back to it now (getting hooked on Team Fortress, never really gave it a chance before and it's brilliant!), and the 360 will only read the disc correctly if it's in the tray when it's turned on. If it put it in afterwards it thinks it's a DVD, so I have to restart the console. It was bought in October last year - can I go back to Game and have them change it or will they send me somewhere else? Ta

Daft question maybe, but is there anything in the manual about it? I'm sure I've seen a few game manuals have a bit in the back about replacements.

It's worth a try, if they won't replace it then they can tell you what to do.

EA replaced my brother in law's "Rock Band" disk for me after Georgie sat on the 360 and knocked it over while it was playing.
For free! (And seeing as he couldn't wait to get it back, I got it!!!!!!!!)

There is usually a small charge to pay for replacement disks. As Fayshun says you may get more joy from the distributor rather than Game themselves

Indeed! After I said I wanted to talk to the supervisor, I fired the laptop up to grab some choice quotes from trading standards etc, all ready for a fight, and they just caved! Ha!
