Default Driver Cleaner

When I changed over from ATi to nVidia I just uninstalled one and installed the next.

The new one keeps crashing in games, so I was going to try and reinstall but run Driver Cleaner too.

However, it seems you now have to buy it but I was wondering if the old versions of Driver Cleaner Pro that was free still work properly with new cards or if they're more likely to **** stuff up rather than fix something...

Driver Cleaner Pro 1.5 is but it was last updated in 2006, hence my question.

Current version is Driver Cleaner .NET which is $10 and i'm not paying $10 when I dont know if it'll even help at all.
