Default Uh oh, blew up my car now...

'Fraid so. 250 miles from Kent to Southampton to up near Birmingham at top speed has killed my engine. Terminal sounding knocking noise and got trailered back. I don't think it's up for the abuse I give it. May be time for a swap to the later 100E engine which is a bit stronger.

They're quite complicated engines if I remember correctly so he's going to need at least three cardboard toilet roll inners and 2 rubber bands to make one of the stronger ones

I'm thinking I might just out a standard engine back in it. Mine would be easy to find the bits and repair but expensive and it won't be long until I break it again. Standard engine would be cheaper but they are hard to find.
