For Pickys birthday I decided to get him Guitar Hero 3. I searched around to find deals and through help of many friends (fanking you Desmo and Leo!) and good ole quidco found I could purchase it from Tescos for around Â£55 - Â£60 and also get a Â£15 wine voucher back too! Yeh it meant I only had about Â£2 left in my account after buuut Â£15 wine voucher too!

BARGAIN!

So I call up and ask whether they have it in stock - need it for the weekend see (twas a Monday/Tuesday) and I am told they do and if I order it now it should be with me on Thursday! YAY!

*zips online and buys it*

Come Thursday I try and look up my order status and it's being stoopid. Call them back up and I get passed around loads of people who all tell me I haven't placed the order - it's no where - and I'd have to place another. *eak*!! I dug out my order number in a panic and tell them it and they're like "oh yeh... I can see it now!" (planks!) HOWEVER!! They're out of stock and don't anticipate having them in until next week.

NOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I therefore decide to cancel it over the phone and then disappear in to town and get it from Game (more expensive but I had no time to find anything else

)

Get into town, go in to Game and I get chatting to the chap there. He... was... a LEGEND! If anyone has seen the show Wicked, I did the whole *toss toss* thing with my hair and battered my eyelids and he price matched Tescos! YAAAAAAAAAY! Not only that, but he got me two free guitar covers too from out back! *I heart nerds*

So happy me goes home and wraps up prezzie dead chuffed! Next day though... I get an email from Tescos. My order hasn't been cancelled and they're charging me for GH3 and it's going to be delievered today.

EH?!?! and more OH GNOES as I had *no* money left in my bank and will be minus! Eak!

I call them up, speak to a complete twozzle pot, he says it's cancelled and I won't be charged. 20mins later, check my bank and I've been charged... twice!! Aiiiiieeeeeeeeee!!

Anyway, lots of funny letters written (I was all nice and what not telling the person on the receiving end to go get a cuppa prior to reading on!) and yeh... Tescos has given me Â£35 vouchers and my full refunds!

Yay!

ALSO! To make things even better! I checked my bank today and find out Game only charged me Â£44.99 for GH3 (with the guitar for the xbox!) YAAAAAAAAAAAY! So theoretically I've only paid a tenner for it with the Tescos coupons off too!

Bargain! Absolute bargain! And all was achieved from me being nice and happy to the right people

(though Pickys all sad now cos his Xbox has gone off due to red ring of death! Doh!)

(Sorry Picky I sound like a right cheapskate and you probably want me to go buy you another prezzie now

I'll make up the rest of what I should of paid in kind

I get 20% off games at blockbuster, cos my friend works there, so when i bought my GHÂ£, traded in games I didnt want, and then got discount, it ended up costing like Â£13

It was more of a sob story and then I begged him to make it cheaper and did a bit of a bottom lip quiver whilst saying "My bank managers going to hate me"... and then I did the magical *toss toss* from the magical musical Wicked.

And just like that *click* he went out back, got be some freebies for GH and then discounted it enormously! I was so happy with the freebies I just punched in my pin and didn't check how much it was for!

Â£44.99 though! YAAAAAAAAAAY!
