What games are you pre-ordering or definitely buying at launch?

As the peak time of year is approaching for big games, what are you certain to be buying as soon as it arrives on the shelves?

I'm going for 3 mainly, doubt I'll be able to afford more so I'm making sure I get my money's worth

Going for Fable 2: Collector's Edition, Gears of War 2 Limited Edition and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. Good mix of genres imo.

I was tempted by Fallout 3 but I'm not 100% sure as I'm not generally keen on that kind of RPG, plus with Fable 2 out the week before, I'll be busy with that anyhow. So I reckon I'll get Fallout 3 at a later point.
Similar story with CoD5 really, so close to Gears 2 that I think I'll wait it out or decide once it's come out depending on which of my friends gets it.
Banjo Kazooie is just too hard to resist, especially with a code to get the original on XBLA for free

I am intrigued by Quantum of Solace as it actually seems to be shaping up to be a good game, but I'll wait it out for a price drop or two or Christmas.

Well, Fable 2 of course

Had the Collectors Edition on preorder for yonks hence getting the pub games for free.
I would love Fallout 3 but as it only comes out 1 week after I've decided to be sensible and wait and get it when I'm done.
I've preordered Sacred 2 because of an Amazon cock up and will get it for £17.99 new. It would have been one I'd have got eventually anyway but now it's a bargain.
I also have Banjo preordered with Zavvi who I'm going to try out for the first time with a preorder. It cost £34.99.

I'll get Gears 2 on release but not bothered about the collectors edition.

The only other I'm very tempted to preorder right now is Prince of Persia; it looks fantastic. Also if/when Last Remnant gets a release date it could well get a day 1 look in.

Other games look great like COD5, Quantum of Solace, Tomb Raider Underworld but I figure this will do for now. I plan on letting Fable 2 take over my life for quite a while!

Used to have Sacred 2 pre-ordered with the amazon cock up but I changed my mind in the end.
Banjo at Game is £39.99 but you get the XBLA game free, plus there's a £3 off code (NW05GME4) so I'd recommend there for Banjo

I missed out on Fable 2 Pub Games as I pre-ordered with Gameplay, and it's not worth changing now as the price difference makes things a bit negligible as it's £44.99 there.

I'd be really interested in Banjo if it wasn't so expensive over here - it's only $35-40 in the states, yet everywhere over here has it selling for at least £40. Just feel a bit shafted by it, but if you're a yank that's a bargain for the new game and the original on XBLA.

Other than that it'll be Gears 2 and Scene It which are definite, the rest I'll play by ear

Fifa 09 this week is a release date game for me. Other than that, I don't have anything pre-ordered, unusually for me. I'd love to get Fable 2 and Fallout 3 on release day, and will likely get one of them by trading some stuff in, but at least one of them will have to wait till my birthday at the end of November. If I can blitz through enough of my unplayed/unfinished games maybe I'll get enough trade in value to get both of them, but I doubt it.

I haven't done any yet. I want to but theres no garuntees I'll have the cash on launch day. Fable 2 for the chicken kicking sex games and GoW2 for the guns. I had no idea that COD5 was coming out this year too.

Did look at moving my Banjo preorder for the arcade game, ta

I managed to use a code for Fable 2 and got the collectors ed plus pub games for £41.99
