Default Oh...bum

After a mere three years of putting up with 18-odd stone of hairy northener falling heavily onto it, a spring has finally gone on my sofa.

Do I ignore it, try and convince my gf to swap sides with me or try and fix it?

Not sure how you'd fix a broken spring, just convince her to swap

Is it broken or just come loose?

The springs were forever 'breaking' on our ****ty landlord provided student sofas, in the end we just took a stanley knife to the bottom and they were just unhooked, so we hooked them all back in, good as new.

I think the spring has just detached at one end...

Can you not stick something on the end of the spring and call it a feature?

I had a spring go on my sofa, kids used to run across it rather than walk round it.

I put up with it for a while, but kept slipping into the hole which i found frustrating, yet fulfilling.

DFS will give you 50 year interest free on a new one.
