Default McCain forced to defend Obama...

....

It goes to show how ignorant some of the voters are.

Strangely I've warmed to the man more in that short clip than I have during the whole election campaign, I still don't agree with him on most of his policies but I'm heartened to see him actually trying to conduct the campaign decently. I only hope his advisers and marketing men heed this stance, I think it will serve him better than the mud-slinging that goes on during the typical political race.

I hope Palin does too as she (or her advisers) seem to be the origin of a lot of the mud-slinging that's already happened in that direction.

Stupid woman aside, it's disheartening that the crowd gasps when he pays the opposition a compliment. Like S-PW was alluding to, the compliments show strength of character and common decency, and I'm sure they'd have more followers for the party if they were more open to this.

Palin scares the hell out of me, her and McCain are a lethal combination because he's good a good chance of snuffing it in office which would leave the psycho bitch as leader of the free world!

Same. Everyone knows McCain is very old so if he makes it into the White House Palin has a bloody good chance of taking over if McCain dies or falls seriously ill. Quite scary that.

I sodding hope not. Whether or not I liked Obama I'd vote for him (if I were a Yanky) just to make sure Palin got nowhere near occupying the Oval Office.

Me too! I thought Muslim was going to come out. Then perhaps something worse. I thought she said Arab as well but it didn't sound like it to me.
