Confused Flour Beetle

I get daily food alerts, recalls, warnings etc emailed at work from the food standards agency.

This morning I got this one:

Quaker Oats has recalled a batch of their own brand 1.5kg carton of Quaker Oats Original and 1kg carton of Quaker 'Jumbo' Rolled Oats due to the potential presence of confused flour beetle

I now have stuck in my head a Pheebs-esk image of a beetle covered in flour looking all confused, wandering around going "der"

Is it wrong for me to feel sorry for the confused beetle?

Yep, apparently they are prolific shaggers so really i'm sure they sure perfectly contented even if they are confused

Of course it's confused it's stuck in a box of cerial.

I pour them into a tuppaware cereal thing though, and throw the box away. :\
