Has Anyone Read The Twilight Books?

Has anyone here read Stephenie Meyers' Twilight books?
These are the books that the new movie, Twilight, starring the latest heart-throb Robert Pattinson in (though I can't see why he is classed as one).

The movie has gotten mixed reviews, but it's an absolute monster success anyway and has become the 3rd highest pre-order ticketted movie of all time just behind Star Wars Episode III and The Dark Knight.

The reason I ask is that the latest talk is that the Twilight Series of books are set to become bigger than the Harry Potter books

and I was wondering if they are any good?
